Tyler's 8th Birthday

Tyler turned 8 this past Monday. We celebrated Sunday at May-May and Paw-Paw's house.
We ate pizza and cake and ice cream and enjoyed visiting with family. Tyler got a NBA Wii game, a Nintendo DS, and a Chipper Jones Braves shirt. He also received money to buy games for his Nintendo. Tyler is growing up so fast. He is getting ready for baseball season and is very excited about playing again this year. He loves sports, playing and watching them on T.V. He is such a cool kid. Happy Birthday Tyler. We love you.

1 month old

I can't believe that Megan is already one month old today. It has flown by. She went to the doctor Friday and has gained two pounds and grown two inches. She is now 9 lbs. 1 oz. and is 21 inches long. She is staying awake more now and becoming more alert. She is such a sweet baby. She does like to fuss some during the day when she is awake, but is doing really good at night so I can't complain. I took her picture in the rocking chair in her room and want to take it in the same place on her monthly birthday to see how she changes each month.

Snow Day

We received about 4 inches of snow Friday. It was so pretty watching it fall and of course the boys couldn't wait to go play in it. They had fun having snowball fights with Daddy. We all enjoyed the snow but it has been such a cold winter that spring can not get here fast enough.

It is hard to believe that Megan is already almost two weeks old. She is doing great and is a really good baby. She is still spending most of her time sleeping but I have managed to capture a few pictures of her awake that I wanted to post.

Megan Kathleen White

Megan Kathleen White was born Friday afternoon, January 22,2010 at 1:53. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 inches long. She is doing great. Her big brothers really adore her and we are so excited and blessed to have her in our family. Welcome to the world, Megan. We love you.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We celebrated the Sunday before Christmas at May-May and Paw-Paw's house with Joe and Amy and their families. We spent Christmas eve with Grandma and Pop and all of John's family and enjoyed a nice day at home on Christmas day. The boys were excited about all of their presents. Wii games, sea creatures, and Mickey Mouse were the main hits, no two-headed snake or lemon shark, but I think Jake was still pleased with what Santa brought. Jake's Christmas List

Jake sat down this morning and decided he wanted to make out his Christmas list. It is very unique. He said he wanted to take it to show Santa Claus. I bet Santa has never seen a list like this before and may have a hard time finding these items. I hope Jake is not too disappointed. In case you can't read it, he wants a lemon shark, a western blind snake, a spectacled cobra, a two-headed snake, a puffer fish, and a corn snake. He has also wants sea creatures which are easy to find so Santa should be able to substitute some of the items on his list and he'll still hopefully be happy.

Luke's Christmas List
