Megan is nine months old today. She is at such a fun age. She is starting to pull up and has begun clapping. She is crawling everywhere and into everything. She is a little human vacuum cleaner. She will put anything in her mouth that she can get her hands on. Her bottom two teeth have pretty much come in and she is starting to get a top tooth. She is eating some table foods now. She had some of a baked potato the other night and loved it. Here she is at nine months. It is getting harder to get her picture in this chair because she won't sit still. Luke was with me in her room when I was taking her picture, so he of course had to have his picture taken too. So Luke is also included at 3 years and almost 4 months.
Tyler asked Jesus into his heart a while back and was baptized this past Sunday, the 26th. He did great. He was so excited. He was a little concerned about how deep the water would be, but he did great and had the biggest grin on his face the whole time. He is such a good kid and has a strong love for Jesus, one we pray will only get stronger. We love you Tyler and are so proud of you.
Megan is eight months old today. I know I say this every post but time really is flying by. She was just born and now she is sitting by herself, holding her own bottle and so close to crawling. I noticed yesterday that her bottom two teeth are starting to come in and last night Jake lost his second front tooth. So while one child is getting teeth, another one is losing them. Everyone is growing up too fast. I am just so thankful they are all healthy and doing so good. Thank you, Jesus.
Luke started preschool today. He was excited to be a big boy and to be going to school like his big brothers. He seemed to really enjoy his first day. He kept saying how much fun he had and that he was ready to go back. He goes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and his teacher is Mrs. Missy.
It is hard to believe that Megan is already seven months old. Time is flying by. She is growing up too fast. She is sitting up by herself now. She is pulling up on her hands and knees, but hasn't learned how to move forward. She can however scoot backwards. I definitely can't leave her unattended on the couch or bed anymore. She rolls everywhere. She kicks her feet when she gets excited and is still so fascinated by her brothers. She loves to be a part of whatever they are doing. At her last check-up she weighed 21 lbs 2 ozs and was 28 inches long.
The boys started back to school this week. They wouldn't admit it, but I think they were both ready. Tyler started third grade and his teacher is Mrs. Schrier. Jake started first grade and his teacher is Mrs. Hursey. They both seemed like great teachers at open house and I have heard excellent things about each one, so I was pleased. So far so good. They both have had a great week and we are looking forward to a great year. The pictures aren't the greatest. They are too dark, but you can get the idea.
I took the kids to Target this week and had their pictures made. They turned out pretty good. I was able to get a good shot of each kid and then a good one of them together. Megan didn't want to smile but at least she wasn't crying.
