Tyler's 9th Birthday

I can't believe Tyler is turning nine today. We celebrated his birthday Sunday with a party at May-May and Paw-Paw's house. This year he got mostly money so he is looking forward to going shopping soon. Paw Paw got him a nice Georgia wallet so he has a nice place to store his cash. Here is a slideshow from the day. Just as a sidenote Tyler has always said that he wants to play MLB or in the NBA, but he told me the other day that if that didn't work out he would just work at Taco Bell, his favorite place to eat.

Megan's First Birthday

Megan turned one on Saturday. She seemed to really enjoy her party. I think she liked being the center of attention. She is walking really well now and eating table food. Bananas and yogurt seem to be her favorite so far. At her one year checkup she weighed 23 lbs. 4 ozs and was 30 inches tall. We have enjoyed our first year with her so much and look forward to watching our little girl grow up. Happy 1st Birthday Megan. We love you.

Christmas 2010

It is hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time this year and enjoyed visting with our family. The Sunday before Christmas we went to May-May and Paw-Paw's and celebrated with the Odom's and Joe's family and we spent Christmas eve at the White house in LaFayette. We were able to enjoy Christmas day at home. We had about 3 inches of snow that day and enjoyed a beautiful white Christmas. Here is a slideshow of all the highlights.

11 Months Old

I can't believe Megan will be one in a month. She can stand on her own now and has even taken a few steps. She loves the stairs and can make it all the way to the top.
She is doing great and we are looking forward to celebrating our first Christmas with her.

10 Months Old

Megan is ten months old today. She is growing so fast. She has 6 teeth now, four on top and two on bottom. She pulls up on everything and will even stand by herself for a few seconds. She has discovered the stairs and has made it up to the third step. I guess it is time to pull out the gate. She weighs 22 lbs 6 oz and is 30 inches long.

Halloween 2010

We had a fun time this Halloween. The boys love Super Mario brothers so that was their theme this year. Tyler was Luigi, Jake was Mario, and Luke was Yoshi the dinosaur. I couldn't find the Princess Peach costume that went with Super Mario brothers for Megan but I did find a cute princess dress that looked a lot like her. We did our trunk or treat at church. Our Sunday School class decorated two cars so after we went around we helped hand out candy which the boys really seemed to enjoy. After that we went home and went trick or treating around the neighborhood. It was a good night.

Pumpkin Patch

Luke had a field trip with his preschool class to the pumpkin patch Friday. It was a nice one. They had a hayride and a nature walk and got to stuff a scarecrow, pick out a pumpkin and feed the animals. Luke had a lot of fun. We all didn't get to go as a family this year, but I enjoyed the trip with Luke and hope we can all go next year.
