Jake's 7th Birthday

Jake turned seven this past Saturday. We celebrated the week before because Tyler had a baseball game and Grandma and Pop and May May and Paw Paw along with Wendy and Antony and Joe were able to come for the day to see Tyler play ball and then to celebrate Jake's birthday. Jake wanted money like Tyler got for his birthday, so that was mainly what he received along with a shark wallet and a Wii game. He has already used some of his money to buy some stuffed fish. He loves all kinds of fish and sea creatures. On his actual birthday he came down with strep throat and ran a high fever for a few days, but we were still able to make it to McDonald's for dinner and then a frosty for dessert. We love you Jake.

Fourteen Months

Megan is fourteen months old today. She is growing up so fast and is really starting to develop her own little personality. She loves music and will begin to dance when she hears it. She especially loves the theme song to Mickey Mouse clubhouse. She can hold her hands up and say "is it? " when she is looking for something and says something similiar to thank you when you give her something. She understands things and will go and get herself a diaper when we tell her to. She also understands when she is not supposed to do something, but usually does it anyway with a big grin on her face. The nursery workers at church have already told me that she doesn't take anything off of anybody. I guess she learned that early with three older brothers. It is pretty much impossible to get a picture of her anymore because she won't sit still. These are the best I could get.

Tyler's 9th Birthday

I can't believe Tyler is turning nine today. We celebrated his birthday Sunday with a party at May-May and Paw-Paw's house. This year he got mostly money so he is looking forward to going shopping soon. Paw Paw got him a nice Georgia wallet so he has a nice place to store his cash. Here is a slideshow from the day. Just as a sidenote Tyler has always said that he wants to play MLB or in the NBA, but he told me the other day that if that didn't work out he would just work at Taco Bell, his favorite place to eat.

Megan's First Birthday

Megan turned one on Saturday. She seemed to really enjoy her party. I think she liked being the center of attention. She is walking really well now and eating table food. Bananas and yogurt seem to be her favorite so far. At her one year checkup she weighed 23 lbs. 4 ozs and was 30 inches tall. We have enjoyed our first year with her so much and look forward to watching our little girl grow up. Happy 1st Birthday Megan. We love you.

Christmas 2010

It is hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time this year and enjoyed visting with our family. The Sunday before Christmas we went to May-May and Paw-Paw's and celebrated with the Odom's and Joe's family and we spent Christmas eve at the White house in LaFayette. We were able to enjoy Christmas day at home. We had about 3 inches of snow that day and enjoyed a beautiful white Christmas. Here is a slideshow of all the highlights.

11 Months Old

I can't believe Megan will be one in a month. She can stand on her own now and has even taken a few steps. She loves the stairs and can make it all the way to the top.
She is doing great and we are looking forward to celebrating our first Christmas with her.
